Ben Dashwood

Benjamin Kenneth Dashwood (born December 1st, 2004), is a Toronto/LA-based film editor, post-compositor, and screenwriter. Born in Oakville, Canada, Dashwood started editing on Final Cut Pro at 8 and has been editing in Premiere and Avid Media Composer ever since. In 2014, Dashwood started a VFX plugin company called FanFilmFX, for use on Adobe After Effects and Apple FxFactory. Dashwood has worked on over 30 short films in his time at high school, and is actively working on more. He has also worked on a plethora of Sony-funded films that were later played at Sony Studios. He has taken screenwriting courses at UCLA and SMC, and is now continuing to pursue film production at Sheridan College.
