Obbi made an early mark in the industry as the screenwriter for a documentary video that was selected for the BRIN Local Knowledge Acquisition program in 2022, highlighting his aptitude for storytelling that blends creativity and meaningful content. His scriptwriting skills continued to shine when his work contributed to "Dewi," a film that went on to win Best Film at the Teras Sunda Cibiru Festival, cementing his reputation as a talented screenwriter.
